Over 6,000 new chemicals are tested in the US each week! Three thousand chemicals have been identified as intentionally added to food supplies and over 700 in drinking water. During food processing and storage, more than 10,000 other compounds can become an integral part of many commonly used foods. One of the major symptoms of chemical toxicity seems to be a breakdown of the immune function, which encourages all kinds of symptoms in the body. Another major symptom is damage to the nervous system and nervousness. We aren’t rewarded immediately with good health and radiant well-being as soon as we change our “evil ways.” Our bodies has been clogged with so many types of toxins that it is not surprising that the human civilization has been plague by so many types of diseases for the last 20 years or so!

This is great and very important information. Keep up the good work at getting this information out to the public! I have seen the level of education about environmental toxins rise greatly in the last five years or so, but we have a long way to go! Thanks for your part in helping our world become healthy again.
I would add that fiber and exercise are critical to eliminating toxins from the body. Exercise stimulates and massages the internal organs (especially yoga, pilates and other stretching-related activities). But fiber is really overlooked as a detoxifier. Not only is fiber critical to managing a lean figure, fiber moves toxins and waste out of our body so that our mood, mind, gut and energy all improve. People simply don’t get enough fresh produce and whole grains in their diets, and the result is toxic buildup resulting in depression, exhaustion, obesity and discomfort.
